Integration steps

Integrate Hotjar by passing your Hotjar Site ID ( hjid) via a URL parameter.

1. Find Your Hotjar Site ID:

   • Log in to your Hotjar account.

   • Go to "Sites & Organizations".

   • Your Site ID ( hjid) will be listed next to your site.

2. Construct the URL: Add the hjid parameter to your Claimr campaign URL, replacing "HOTJAR_CAMPAIGN_ID" with your actual Hotjar Site ID:

   https://campaign?hjid=HOTJAR_CAMPAIGN_ID

Verifying Hotjar integration

After adding the hjid parameter, go to your Hotjar dashboard and check if data is being collected for your site. You should be able to see recordings, heatmaps, and other Hotjar features working within the claimr widget.
