Engage users with YouTube content and track their interactions with your channel or videos.
Use YouTube tasks to:
Increase your YouTube channel subscribers.
Drive views and engagement on your videos.
Promote your YouTube content within your claimr campaigns.
Reward users for interacting with your YouTube channel.
Track the effectiveness of your YouTube marketing efforts.
For detailed information about general task settings, including task name, header, description, rewards, dependencies, and more, refer to Task settings.
This section allows you to choose the specific type of task you want to create for your campaign.
Select YouTube to indicate that the task will be completed on the YouTube platform. Once you've selected it, two options will appear:
Subscribe to a channel
Watch a video
Now, move on to configuring the specific settings for your chosen YouTube task.
Remember, accuracy is crucial when entering the ID to ensure claimr can correctly interact with your YouTube channel.
What is it: This unique identifier is essential for claimr to interact with your YouTube channel, allowing it to verify task completion (like subscribing) and trigger rewards.
How to edit:
Go to your YouTube channel page.
Find the About section and click More.
In the Channel details menu, click Chare channel and select Copy channel ID.
Paste this ID into the corresponding field in claimr's task settings.
What is it: This unique identifier is crucial for claimr to interact with a specific YouTube video, allowing it to verify task completion (watching the video) and trigger rewards.
How to edit:
Go to the YouTube video you want to use for this task.
Look at the video's URL in your browser's address bar. The video ID is the alphanumeric string after v=
.
Copy this video ID and paste it into the corresponding field in Claimr's task settings.
Minimum watch time in seconds (optional)
What is it: This setting allows you to specify the minimum amount of time (in seconds) that users need to watch the video to complete the task. If left blank, any amount of watch time will count as completion.
How to edit: Enter the desired minimum watch time in seconds. For example, if you want users to watch at least 20 seconds of the video, enter "20" in this field.
Recurrence
What is it: This setting determines how often users can complete this task.
Once: The default setting. Users can only complete the task once.
Daily: The task resets every day, allowing users to complete it again each day.
Weekly: The task resets every week, allowing users to complete it again each week.
While setting up your YouTube task, encountering errors is a possibility. So verify that you've entered the correct YouTube channel ID in the task settings.
