Web3 tasks

Сonnect your ⚡️сlaimr campaigns to the blockchain! Drive user engagement by incentivizing on-chain actions like minting NFTs, swapping tokens, or interacting with smart contracts.

  1. Open your quest: In your claimr campaign header menu, navigate to the Quests tab. Click on the quest you want to add a task to. This will open the quest details page.

  2. Create a new task: On the quest details page, click +Create a new task button. A task setting window will appear.

General settings

This section allows you to configure the basic parameters of your Web3 task.

Pro tip: To enhance the user experience, consider offering a helpful guide for those who are new to Web3 concepts or the specific on-chain action required for the task. This can reduce friction and encourage successful completion.

Task General section

Task name

What it is: This is the reference name for the task. Keep it clear and descriptive for your own records. How to edit: Type your desired name in the field provided.

Task header

What it is: This is the title of the task that participants will see. Make it catchy and informative to grab their attention. How to edit: Type your desired title in the field provided.

Task completion message

What it is: This is the message participants will see upon successfully completing the task. Use it to celebrate their achievement and reinforce the value they've brought to your campaign. How to edit: Type your desired message in the field provided.

Task failure message

What it is: This is the message participants will see if they don't complete the task. How to edit: Type in a message that acknowledges they haven't yet met the requirements. You can offer encouragement or guidance on what they can do to successfully complete the task.

Task description

Task description section

What it is: This is where you provide detailed instructions on how to complete the task. Be clear, concise, and engaging to motivate participants. How to edit: Click the + Create description and a text field will appear. Enter your description, select the style and the colour of your text, and add links or pictures. Once you're ready, click Save to save your changes. Use the Preview button (top right) to see how your referral task will look to participants.

Collapse Description

Collapse Description toggle allows you to control the visibility of your campaign description for potential participants.

  • The toggle is off: The full description will be visible to anyone viewing your campaign.

  • The toggle is on: The description will be condensed, showing only a brief summary. Participants will need to click "Show more" to expand and read the full description.

This is a great way to keep your campaign page looking clean and uncluttered, while still giving interested users the option to learn more about your campaign.

Task type

This section allows you to choose the specific type of Web3 task you want to create for your campaign.

Task type section

Select Web3 to indicate that the task will be completed using a Web3 action. Once you've selected it, a dropdown menu will appear with the following options:

  • Connect a Wallet: Requires users to connect their cryptocurrency wallet to your campaign.

  • Transactions Count: Checks the number of transactions a user has made on a specific blockchain network.

  • Wallet Balance: Verifies the balance of a user's cryptocurrency wallet.

  • Token Balance: Checks the balance of a specific token held by the user.

  • NFT Balance: Verifies the number of NFTs owned by the user.

  • Link3 Balance: Checks the user's balance of Link3 tokens (a specific type of token).

  • Mint an NFT (721): Requires users to mint an NFT using the ERC-721 standard.

  • Mint an NFT (1155): Requires users to mint an NFT using the ERC-1155 standard.

  • Verify Transactions: Verifies that a user has made a specific transaction.

Once you've selected the desired Web3 task type, proceed to the corresponding page to understand and configure its specific settings.

Task rewards

This section is your control center for incentivizing participation and rewarding your users for their actions.

Completion points (XP)

What it is: The base number of points a participant earns for successfully completing the task. How to edit: Enter the desired number of points in the field.

Referral completion points (XP):

What it is: The bonus points a participant earns for each person they refer who also successfully completes the task. This rewards users for bringing in active participants. How to edit: Enter the number of points you want to award per successful referral.

Points multiplier (%)

What it is: Allows you to boost the points earned for completing the task or for each successful referral by a certain percentage. How to edit: Enter the desired multiplier value as a percentage in the field.

Dependencies

This section lets you control the flow of your campaign by setting prerequisites for this task.

Open after tasks

What It Is: Select other tasks in your campaign that users must complete before they can unlock and participate in this task. How to activate: Choose the prerequisite task(s) from the list. You can select multiple tasks if needed.

Set as optional

What it is: This toggle determines whether the dependent tasks are mandatory or optional for completing the current task.

  • Toggle on: Completing the dependent tasks is optional.

  • Toggle off: Completing the dependent tasks is mandatory.

Advanced setting

What it is: This field allows you to add internal notes or tracking information related to this task, not visible to participants. How to edit: Click inside the text box and enter any necessary information.

Saving your settings

After configuring all sections of your Web3 task, click Save Changes to apply your changes. If you don't want to save your changes, click Close.

To see how your task will appear to users, click Preview. This will open a new tab showcasing three different views: desktop, tablet, and mobile. You can toggle between these views to ensure your task looks and functions seamlessly across all devices.
