What are Poll Tasks?

The Poll task is a valuable tool for gathering opinions, conducting surveys, or simply adding an element of fun and interactivity to your quests.

Use Poll tasks to:

  • Gather feedback and opinions from your audience.

  • Create engaging interactive elements within your quests.

  • Conduct surveys to understand user preferences.

  • Collect valuable data for analysis and decision-making.

For detailed information about general task settings, including task name, header, description, rewards, dependencies, and more, refer to Task settings.

Task Type

  1. Select Common.

  2. Select Poll to specify that the task involves sharing users' opinion through the poll.

Once you've selected both, move on to configuring the specific settings for your poll task.

Task settings

The "Options" section is where you define the possible answers for your poll, including text and images.

Each answer choice consists of three main parts:

  • ID: A unique identifier (automatically generated by Claimr).

  • Answer: The text of the answer choice that users will see. Type the text of the answer choice (e.g., "Yes," "No," "Option A").

  • Image: An image associated with the answer choice. Use the standard Claimr image uploader to upload an image for each option.

To add a new answer choice, click the "+ Add Answer" button. A new row will appear.

The image and text are linked for each option. If you delete an answer choice both the text and its associated image will be removed.

Save and preview

After you've configured all sections of your Poll task, click Save Changes to apply your changes. If you don't want to save your changes, click Close.

To see how your task will appear to users, click Preview. This will open a new tab showcasing three different views: desktop, tablet, and mobile. You can toggle between these views to ensure your task looks and functions seamlessly across all devices.
