General settings

This section is where you'll set the basic parameters for your campaign.

General settings section

Campaign ID

A unique, auto-generated identifier for internal reference. You won’t need to change or use this unless working with the API or internal tools.

Campaign name

This is the name users will see. It should clearly reflect the theme or goal of your campaign. Keep it short, engaging, and specific. Just type it into the field.

Campaign points name

This is the name of the reward system you’re using. It could be “Points,” “XP,” “Tokens,” or anything else. Choose a term that fits your community’s voice. This label appears across all user-facing components.

Process points based on past events

When enabled, this toggle automatically recalculates users’ point totals if you change the point value of a task after it’s already been completed. This is helpful when correcting task values or adjusting campaign dynamics.

For example, if a task was worth 100 points and you later reduce it to 50, claimr will recalculate and apply the new value retroactively

Initial Points

This is the number of points each user receives immediately upon joining the campaign, before completing any tasks. It’s useful for campaigns restarting in a new season or continuing from a previous phase — allowing you to preload users with some progress.

For example, setting this to 50 means every participant will automatically get 50 points added to their balance at the start.

Points icon

An image that represents your campaign’s reward system. Use something simple and memorable. Click Edit to upload or replace the icon.

Your campaign’s visual brand. This image appears prominently throughout the widget and admin panel. Click Edit to upload or update the logo.

Description

A clear and appealing description helps users understand the campaign’s value. Explain the goals, rewards, and what users should do next. You can use the rich-text editor to apply styles, add links, and insert images. Keep it concise but inspiring — this is the first impression your campaign makes.

Campaign description tags

Tags allow dynamic personalization of your description. When inserted, they’re automatically replaced with data relevant to each user, making the experience feel more custom and engaging.

Campaign description editor

Here are the available tags:

{{ref_name}} Shows the name of the person who referred the current user

{{team_name}} Displays the team name the user belongs to

{{total_xp}} Shows the user’s total points

{{xp_alias}} Displays the name you gave to your points (e.g., XP, Tokens)

{{participants}} Shows the total number of campaign participants

{{evm_address}} Displays the connected EVM-compatible wallet address of the user

You can type these directly in the description. They’ll auto-populate when the user views the campaign.

Make sure all tags are correctly formatted so they are recognized and processed by claimr.

Animation type

Choose how your description appears in the widget. You can apply visual effects such as typing animation to add a bit of flair and draw attention. Just select an option from the dropdown.

Collapse description

This toggle helps control visual clutter. When turned on, the description is shown in a compact view with a “Show more” link. When off, the full description is visible by default. Use this to keep your widget clean while still offering full campaign details.

Policies

This field allows you to add a link to your company’s own Terms, Privacy Policy, or any other external documentation. When provided, claimr’s widget displays both the default claimr Terms and the custom policy link. This is useful for meeting internal compliance or offering campaign-specific terms to users.

Constrains

Time limits section

Campaign is locked

Use this toggle to prevent users from participating in the campaign, even if it’s visible. This is helpful when preparing or finalizing content before launch.

Limit campaign time

Set a campaign start and end time to control when participation opens and closes.

Enable the toggle for "Limit campaign time" and set specific start and end dates. The time format is 24-hour (e.g., 14:00), and all settings follow your local time zone.

Campaign flow

This section is where you design the path your users take through your campaign. Use the flow to guide your users through a well-structured experience, encouraging them to complete quests and earn rewards along the way.

  • Assign an Intro quest: the first quest a user sees when joining

  • Select Highlighted quests: quests you want to showcase, such as special challenges or limited-time rewards

  • Choose an Intro pop-up: Optional messages or a complete onboarding flow to greet new users. You can find more about the settings in our Into pop-up article.

Languages

Add languages to localize your campaign. The primary language is shown by default, and you can add others to reach more users.

Integrations

Input a Telegram bot ID to link your campaign with a Telegram bot. This is optional and used in campaigns that feature Telegram-based tasks.

Make sure your bot is set up correctly in Telegram before linking it here to avoid errors during campaign participation.

Block options

Protect your campaign by managing access with advanced restrictions. This section lets you block disqualified users, specific IP addresses, and traffic from selected countries.

Block disqualified users

When enabled, this prevents users marked as disqualified (via referral settings or quest conditions) from accessing your campaign.

IP block list

Enter one or more IP addresses to block access from known malicious sources or bot farms.

Country limitations

Choose whether to block or allow access based on a user's country. Select specific countries to block or to allow exclusive access for targeted regions.

Widget notifications

Customize the system messages your users see during interactions with the campaign widget.

Delay (Seconds) Set how long a notification should stay visible.

Task complete Shown when a task is successfully finished.

Task updated Appears when task progress or status is refreshed.

Task pending Let users know when a task is processing or being reviewed.

Task failed Displayed when the user’s attempt fails. You can encourage retries here.

Reward earned Shown when the user earns points. You can use variables like {reward} to reflect the exact amount.

Failed login / verification Used to prompt users to try logging in or verifying again if it didn’t go through.

Text copied Confirmation that the copied action (like wallet or code) was successful.

Public API

Once you’ve updated your campaign settings, a Public API section will appear at the bottom of the page. This section allows you to generate a token that can be used to integrate your campaign with external systems.

To create the token, click “Generate token.” Once generated, the token will be displayed in a masked format for security reasons. You can click the eye icon to reveal it.

By clicking “Revoke token” you immediately disable access for any system using it.
